Everyday we encounter with many temptations in our fight with the kilograms. This is why we offer you some simple tips that will help you make the fight easier and more effective.

- Always watch what you eat. It is better to put the food in wide, shallow plates than bowls.

- Drink low-fat milk. Studies have discovered that if you go from 3 per cent to 1 % fat milk you will lose about a 2 or 3 kg for one year.

- Try to eat foods that must be chewed and not drunk. It is better to eat a whole fruit that drink one cup of juice.

- Begin to keep a journal when, what and how much you eat. It may seem bizarre, but experts claim that it will help you eat less and healthier.

- Use mustard instead of mayonnaise.

- Cancel or at least reduce the calorie drinks, such as soda, sweet tea, lemonade, etc. Many people are able to lose weight only after a seemingly minor change like this. It is estimated that if you opt out of a glass of soda (containing the calories of one coca cola) you will lose about 7 or 8 kg for one year.

- Mix the juice with water.

- If it is difficult to limit sweets and you keep on reaching for the box of chocolates that are hidden in the top shell, just eat them but do not buy more. It has been proved that for most people this strategy works – the thought that something so tasty (but harmful) is nearby will gradually go away.

- While you eat, do not watch TV, do not read, do not reach for your computer. Do not do anything but enjoying the food you are eating.

- When you feel the first signs of thirst, immediately drink water. If you wait to become very thirsty, your body will be already dehydrated and will be switched to “emergency mode”. This will have a negative impact on nutrition and then – you will eat more.
