9 Reasons for Bad Concentration (Part 2)

See how to avoid the distracting factors that do not let us concentrate

concentration-2

With the implementation of multitasking we typically are striving to save some extra time

Concentration and focus of thought can not always be easily achievable. Their absence affects our way of life, self-esteem, but also productivity and work.
The problem with concentration may be due to various factors.

Performing multiple tasks simultaneously

With the implementation of multitasking we typically are striving to save some extra time. Studies show that this is actually wasting more time than saving. Shifting your attention from one task to another is ruining your concentration and at the end you are losing more time and the jobs are not done properly.
Devote your full attention to a particular project at a particular time, especially if you work in an intensive project which is with high priority.
Use the ability to perform several tasks at once for household chores that are not urgent or require too much effort – for example, to clean your desk while talking on the phone.

Boredom

It is normal some of everyday activities to be more interesting than others. Monotony and boredom, however, make us extremely vulnerable to distraction.
If you can not concentrate enough on the particular activity, do a 10 minute break. Meanwhile prepare yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea, eat some of your favorite food or go for a short walk.

Distracting thoughts

Focusing on current tasks can be impossible if you are worried about unfinished chores, for example. Thoughts of this type are highly distracting and interfere with concentration, say the experts.
One way to get rid of them is to write them down on paper. Make a list of any obligations, chores or other tasks you plan to do later.
