Despite the tragic diagnosis Sophie has not regretted for a moment

The parents of 21-year-old Sophie Cutts, who died of breast cancer after a nine-month battle continues her campaign for spreading the message that the disease can “hit” you at any age. All-time smiling Sophie was spreading her words until her last breath. Unfortunately, the young activist did not win the battle and left this world on September 14.
Sophie’s story is very sad, because initially the doctors assured the family of the girl that she was “too young” to be ill with breast cancer. Therefore, they fail to diagnose her in time. This led to a mastectomy, chemotherapy and removal of lymph nodes. But none of this helped to save the live of young Sophie.
Until her last breath, the young girl was trying to spread more knowledge and to warn that the disease can develop at any time.
Now the family of Sophie performs her dying wish – to raise awareness of the disease among young people.
Sophie’s mother, Tracy said that despite the tragic diagnosis, her daughter has not regretted for a moment and felt happy that she can enjoy the time with her family.
‘Sophie is so special to so many people. Everyone was looking forward to seeing her go on and make a success of her life. People who met her felt as if they had known her all their lives and would say what an amazing person she was. She was definitely unique. We think she was on course for a first class degree and from January, she had to work from home as well, which is all the more remarkable. Her grades didn’t suffer. She is the organiser of the family. We will be lost without her.’, said Tracy, quoted from Daily Mail.
